Well everyone now time to breathe..

Congratulations to Te Pipiri Mananui o nga tataha o Maui for supporting the kaupapa by producing such a wonderful DVD profiling our tamariki and their heroes, evokes such powerful thoughts around Quality Maori education.


Keep up the hardwork with the whakahau and keep doing the mahi ma tatou, ma tatou katoa

80 conversations this week!!! woohoo!!!

Wow, when I look back on this week (first), I counted up how many conversations I had had, with different people, and all in all I had 80 conversations, relating to lots of different kaupapa. Mostly about education, but spreading the word about politics. Ive even joined NZ Politics on facebook, and boy am I learning a lot about how people are feeling about different political parties. what a great segment on Campbell Live last night from the Intermediate at Kawerau. The school student leader spoke from the heart and expressed exactly what education in NZ is all about- enjoying his school and wishing that his younger siblings could have the same experiences as his own. Here was an example of the relationships that be built with school and whanau - Ka Hikitia in action!

Today I have had 36 conversations at Marcellin School, Kai-Iwi School, Keith Street School and Tupoho. No new members recruited. I include two photos as evidence (see below), didn't always remember to take photos.
